Henna and Tea Time at Pierce College - Puyallup
By: Krysteen Lomonaco ~ 3/28/2012

We always enjoy sharing the joy that is henna.  I particularly like our last event at Pierce College, a simple student appreciation day with Henna and Tea.  The two go so well together yet no one has done it before.

Historically, people often put henna on then drink tea.  Besides tea's general pleasant and soothing qualities, it warms the body.  Since henna acts like mud, sucking the heat out of the body, this helps a great deal.  If henna is on the hands, holding a hot tea cup will heat the henna and stimulate a darker stain.

If you want to stay in the spirit of things, drink Chai, a popular India tea, dark, milky with many tantalizing spices.
